Birthday recap 2007

Well the whole birthday/anniversary weekend is over. I ate too much, drank too much, played too little. My sister and two friends called to wish me happy birthday. The rest did not. Even the old notes section here was pretty sparse. Thanks to those who did send wishes. I guess I'm past the age where folks are suppose t oremember.

I didn't get to sail this weekend either. The engine de boat est mort... I'll hopefully find out how long I'll be engineless and what the cost will be sometime today. :-( There will be no racing Tuesday. I did rebuild the water system manifold and I am still leaking from someplace. BLAH... I may have to repipe the whole system.

The scale also said ouch this morning. I am officially back on the diet and exercise wagon again. Blah... I did get up early and hit the tredmill this morning. I need to get back into the old routine. I felt so much better when I did. That means no grapes for a while either. So long dear friend....
Oh, we went to the new not casino in Lincoln. It is now officially the largest slot parlor in the world. It was impressive, all the parking spots were full and there was a 3 hour + wait to eat at any of the restaurants. We did not wait. M.E won $20. I lost $7. The last of the big spenders. Then we left to find food. There were literally three people fighting over our parking spot when we left and we were parked in the boonies... Weird...
Today I feel a year older. Tomorrow will be worse. Then hopefully life moves on.
