Start of the second week

While it's warm outside, it is damp and cold in here. I need a sweater or maybe my coat. Lots of folks have portable heaters. I guess I need to order one too. I also need new furnature. I'll have to scrounge for now.
The weekend was a good one. The local teams won, the foes were vanquished. There was a gunshot somewhere on the street this morning that puppy did not take well. In our neighborhood it was likely someone taking a shot at a coyote or deer rather than a drive by shooting. Still, it bothered M.E. the city gorl a bit.
I have work up to my ears. I wish I knew more about what is going on here. Eventually I will. Until then...
