It got ugly last night, lots of thunder, lots of wind. At least Mom Nature was kind enough not to knock out the power until the Sox game had ended. This was a minor plus.
Puppy of course was terrified and tried to crawl behind the hamper like he always does. There just isn't much you can do for him at that point, just talk to him and try and make him feel better.
We bought a bunch of solar powered lights at J0B L0T and left them out on the deck to charge. They are intended for the boat, but they worked nicely in the bedroom after the power went out.
I'm sure you saw the gasoline tanker fire on the news. It was still smoldering when I came into work this morning. Well, we wanted to watch the story last night, but alas, no power. Ahh, but I have a battery operated TV... With dead batteries. One more thing to add to the list. Seven more working days until vacation #1. Yippee!!!!
