You and me and (monsoon) rain on the roof

Well the old jet stream has decided to meander right across the top of beautiful New England and rain, rain, rain is in the forecast. The weather guessers say maybe as much as 3 inches in the next day or so. That means it could be a foot, or maybe a drought. Such is life in the northeast.

Weather guesser here has to be the job where you can totally screw up and never get fired. They always give themselves a chance of being right though, there will be a 90% chance of rain. Hmm, the sun is out, oh well, we said 90%... Weather dudes and stock analysts, we get paid to be wrong.

Actually it is pretty funny, one of the launch drivers just got his degree in meterorology and took a job in the deserts of Arizona. That must be exciting. Today it will be sunny and hot, followed by sunny and hot for oh say the next three years? Just make a tape and go on vacation. That rules.

They didn't have any fr0sty paws for puppy last night at the semi-supermarket so I bought him H00dsie cups. He does not get the concept that you are only supposed to eat the contents and not the container. His stomach was making rumbling noises this morning, or it might have been mine. I'm not sure.

I think we both could have seriously just did the bed snuggle thing for another couple of hours this morning. He does make a damn fine (if a bit lumpy) heating pad.

The deer have been eating my rhubarb. This is a good thing as even puppy won't eat rhubarb and he eats eveything including an occasional rock and beer can.
