Layoffs are scheduled for Monday. The big boss has shot down every purchase order we've submitted. Some of it is absolutely necessary to be signed off today. I told him that. My engineer isn't happy, I explained that every project we save on could mean somebody who doesn't get laid off. Still, it doesn't make life any easier. I'm off to a meeting.
