It blew 30 right on the nose on the way down and we were wet before we left Greenwich Bay. It rained 2 inches on Saturday and blew 30 again. it blew 30 on the nose on the way back. It was soo cold I had to wear winter gloves all weekend. Only sailors will understand this, but we had a really good time.

My boat is like a cocoon. When we are inside, the outside world doesn't exist. We had 8 people over for dinner on Saturday, lasagna, salad, freedom bread and lots of grapes. Yum. M.E accidently speed backed a cake at 550 degrees. It came out pretty good any way. The only candle we had on board was the scented one with the shells and such in it. Even my birthday wish had a nautical theme.

After we got back yesterday, we wnet home, played with puppy, unpacked, showered and headed back to the boat with yummy sandwiches and the Sunday paper. M.E. took a two hour nap, while I sipped wine and read. No decent jobs in the paper again.

Puppy was good for the sitter, but he misses us when we are gone and becomes attached at the hip when we get back. I don't mind. He loves us.

It is going to be 70s for the next three days? Weeeeeeeee spring may be finally here.
